Blocks arrive about every 15 seconds, and the total supply is capped at 21 billion coins. Its features include fast confirmations for payments and a base layer for assets and applications built on top.
How does DigiByte work?
Multi-algorithm mining is meant to spread security across hardware types, including ordinary computers and specialised chips. Each algorithm adjusts its own difficulty. Like Bitcoin and Litecoin, DigiByte uses the UTXO model, so the UTXO guide applies to it, and Scrypt Wallet supports it natively with keys held on your device.
